Class Drive

Class Drive is a custom Application Service Provider working with school networks, higher ed institutions, regional education service centers and other organized learning communities.

Manage – Class Drive provides anywhere/anytime storage and access. Students and teachers can keep track of web links, files, images, standards, student work and much more.

Communicate – Class Drive offers a suite of electronic communication tools including school & class web sites, club & team sites, RSS class news feeds and more.

Engage – Class Drive’s web publishing tools provide a fun, quick and easy way bring tech in the classroom every day. Student and teacher templates include webquests, walkabouts, portfolios, project-based sites and more. Users can customize existing templates or create new templates in seconds.

DiplomaPlus.Net

Diploma Plus ® charts a new path to success for young people who have not reached their potential in traditional high schools. Through Diploma Plus, these students meet high academic standards and move forward with confidence into the future — to college, the workplace, and responsible adulthood.

Developed in 2005 by AE Communications, Ltd., Diploma Plus’s new web-based tools allow sites in four states share a common framework for competency-based unit development, student competency tracking/reporting, student portfolios and much more. In addition, DP.NET helps sites share learning resources across the network and facilitate interaction between school leadership and Diploma Plus staff.


MCHSnet

MCHSnet leverages to 21st century learning platforms in order to support the mission of Model Continuation High Schools and the larger Educational Options community in California.

During the 2007-2008 academic year, up to three Model Continuation High Schools will participate in the MCHSnet pilot project. The pilot aims to:

  • Increase student achievement through the use of performance-based learning and assessment;
  • Create meaningful connections between the mastery of state standards and credit award for students; and
  • Foster engaging 21st century learning environments both in and out of school.
MCHSnet's customized Class Drive Learning Management System has been designed to support rigorous alternative school settings for over-aged and under-credited students who have previously faced significant challenges in traditional high school settings.

MCHSnet's new Class Drive application allows continuation high schools to share a common framework for
  • Performance-based lesson development
  • Student standards tracking/reporting (grade book & report cards)
  • Student portfolios and personal development plans
  • Electronic drop box
  • Class websites and more
MCHSnet has been is designed to help each of the three lead continuation schools share resources across the MCHS network as well as facilitate interaction between school teams and the MCHS community at large.
